These cardigans are designed to be a very neat and close fitting garment to enable teachers to see how the body is being held, and measure the same as the size quoted above in the pull down menu.  As a general guide we suggest a size larger than chest measurement. If you require room for growth or a looser fit (depending also on the requirements of the dance class) you may wish to select an additional one or two sizes larger than that.
